Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ.

Salt County seeks to connect the Church to the city so that everyone could experience a "home" where we are increasingly worshiping, obeying and being transformed by the person of Jesus, and helping others do the same.  The sense of home comes by experiencing life in community, life on life and life on mission with each other in everyday spaces.  This experience is built on the message we believe, that of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus as proclaimed in the Scripture.  We are convinced that when we truly believe this message, we will be found:

 

Loving...each other and others as the Father loves us.

 

Serving...each other and others as the Son serves us.

 

Proclaiming...Good News to each other and others in the power of the Spirit.

The absence of these activities in our life is not a reflection of the message we believe...but of the unbelief we continue to wrestle against.  

For those who consider themselves believers, the Salt County family might be a people with which you could continue growing in these areas together with others.  For those who do not consider themselves believers of this message...this is a great group with which you can consider the claims of Christ among a family of people who have not yet figured everything out.
